There is no medical condition that indicates immediate circumcision for a prepubescent boy. Unfortunately, the US medical industry prefers to cut boys because it is easy money for them. They often falsely diagnose phimosis and recommend circumcision even though phimosis has less invasive treatments that should be used before surgery.
My son was premature 9 weeks and we had to wait till he was 6 years old ,again we didn't have a choice but it caused him excruciation Pain ! now thats child abuse !!
It sounds like fate found you! I am actually amazed that your husband is intact even with his medical condition. So many people are still cutting their children despite how many medical conditions they might have. It's indeed sad but I am glad that someone had the common sense to not cut your hubby. =)
As someone else who had a pretty wild youth, I have to agree with you. The first time I had sex with an intact man, I thought it was fate or chemistry or something crazy that made sex so good. It was simply a completely different experience. I had orgasms during sex for the first time. We had sex 20 times in a day once...but we didn't have much else in common. It took me a few years to figure out that what I fell for wasn't the man, it was his foreskin! I became an intactivist when I realized that the reason I didn't usually have orgasms during intercourse wasn't ME or my relationships, it was a vital and missing body part.
When I met and fell in love with the man I married, part of me was sad, thinking he was like all of his peers. When I found out (in conversation) that a clotting disorder as a baby had left him intact, I was more determined than ever to marry him. :)
Thank you, Kristen. I was not aware that you had an eBook version available. For those who wish to read a book that you can hold in your hands, Sex as Nature Intended It is also available through Amazon.com as a 400+ page paperback.
Having had experience with both men cut and uncut, I have to say that all penises are good penises. An intact man's penis works in a smoother fashion because the foreskin is there for just that reason. Also, men that are not intact tend to be much rougher lovers, thrusting hard to feel the most sensation they can.
Having had sex with both intact men and circ'ed ones, it has always amazed me that anyone would put their babies through it. It's like removing tonsils for no reason, an outdated practice which has been proven by unbiased studies to have no merit whatsoever. There are, of course, biased studies to be found which can prove that it prevents everything from HIV to sore hips.
Let's be clear, there is no proven medical reason for routine removal of the foreskin!
As for having sex, a man who is circ'ed has very little sensation due to the callus which forms after the protection of the foreskin is removed. This makes a man less likely to want to wear a condom, because it creates a barrier which removes the little sensation he has left. It also causes some other problems which have been mentioned such as lack of sensation leading to either premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction.
For the woman having sex with a circ'ed man, you need a lot of foreplay for both of you, as well as extra lube.
With an intact man, when he is fully erect, his glans emarges fully from the hood of foreskin. The closer he gets to orgasm, the more it becomes engorges with blood which releases pheremones from the glans and lubricational liquid which start to seep from the tip. This increases the womans excitement, making her release more lube as well. In comparison a circ'ed man's callused glans will act like a sponge soaking up any lube the woman produces as he pounds away trying to achieve orgasm while making his lady sore. This can be alleviated with lots of foreplay and other lube, but for someone like myself who is allergic to artificial lube, it's impossible to keep from getting a little chafing soreness with a circ'ed guy. I am sooooo glad my hubby is intact.
As for hygiene, it's not an issue. You just wash daily with soap and water, the same as with any other part of your body.
Sounds like there are two things going on here. First, his penis may be keratinized and he has lost a lot of sensitivity. He may be unaware of his loss. I know I was unaware before I started restoring.
Second, his skin bridges may or may not be irritating to him. The skin bridges do give you an opportunity to talk to him about this. For example, when you are playing with him, you could ask him about his skin bridges. Ask him if they hurt or bother him. His reaction will tell you how receptive he may be talking about it and learning more.
I think most guys would appreciate having a partner pay attention to their body and ask questions. Be tactful and remember that many guys think highly of their penis. Also, depending upon how he is, maybe all you need to do is plant the seed and he will investigate for himself.
Any advice for women on how to approach a partner with a skin bridge? We started seeing each other a few months ago and when he orgasms there is little reaction on his part. Of course, it was when I went down on him that I noticed two strips of skin attaching the underside of the head to his shaft. I'd never seen anything like it before and have been reading as much as I can. I really, really like this guy and I want to make him feel as good as he makes me feel :( And to think he could be in pain too?! Ugh, so from your perspective, how would you have preferred a girl to approach you on this, or do I say nothing?
Original equipment foreskins come in all sizes. Some guys have short foreskins with minimal flaccid coverage. Others have long foreskins that cover the glans even when erect. Between those extremes, most men have a foreskin that retracts when erect and covers the whole penis when flaccid.
I have restored enough of my foreskin where I have full flaccid coverage with some overhang. When I get erect, my foreskin retracts so that my glans is exposed. My foreskin bunches up behind my corona. I can pull it forward over the glans, but it is not long enough to stay covering the glans.
Some foreskin restorers want to have full erect coverage. That is, they want the foreskin to be long enough so that when they are erect, the foreskin covers the glans. They continue to tug until the foreskin is as long as they want.
From your question, it sounds like you want to have the same type of coverage that I now enjoy. So, the answer to your question is, yes, you can have a foreskin that retracts when you are erect. The nice part about restoring is you get to choose how much foreskin you want. If you want a really long foreskin, keep on tugging. If you want a shorter one, stop tugging when you get there. The choice is up to you.
When the foreskin is reconstructed does it act like a normal foreskin... what i mean is when aroused does the head uncover (this may seem like a stupid question but when i learned i was circmcised i was pissed and wanted to reconstruct it so i could feel whole again)
The surgery sounds scary... The only "problem" mine has is that it makes me pee to the left... And my penis might be bigger without it during puberty. Finally, I think it makes it hard for me to pull it back like they do in porn.
I have no suggestions for supportive shoes. I have never worn a shoe that seems as comfortable as being barefoot.
You said that you were running on the balls of your feet, or your forefoot. Did you try a more neutral footfall? From what I am learning it seems that the preferred footfall is almost flat, with the heel slightly off the ground when the rest of the foot lands on the ground. Some advise having the outside of the foot land first with the foot rolling in to be flat.
I used to run on the balls of my feet b/c I thought it felt more natural, then I got really bad tendonitis at the tendon on the inner side of the ankle. I transitioned to heel-toe running and felt much better. I love the way toe-heel running feels initially but maybe b/c my arches are SOOO high I am more prone to tendonitis? I worry about my arches b/c they are extremely high and usually I need a good supportive shoe with a heel lift for running. Any suggestions?
My lower legs are really feeling it since I started transitioning to barefoot running. My calves are tight. I am sure that it takes time for my achilles tendon to respond to the increased range of motion of my ankle. I am taking it slow so my body can get used to it. So far, so good.
I had no pain after my surgery. I did not like wearing the cathether. It was huge! I highly recommend that men consider surgery instead of taking the various drugs to reduce the prostate. The small inconvenience of surgery is much better than the long term risks and side-effects of taking drugs.
Good for you, That usually felt to a person that undergo prostate surgery. Pain killers really helps a lot and without it you would fell like you want to die to end the hurting and sufferings you encountered..But It is just a halfway to simple pleasure after the surgery is done.
Fantastic post! I also had the problem of running too much on my toes. After a while I think your achilles and calve muscles stretch out and it becomes easier.
Cutting the genitals of infant boys is not warranted. Medical evidence has shown that circumcision is significantly more traumatising to a baby than it is to an adult. In recent years, new medical guidelines were unanimously released by many Western health authorities, suggesting there is no medical benefit to circumcision that cannot be achieved as effectively and less invasively via other methods.
We shall work together and should show strong and recognized activism, commonly a serious men's right issue of modifying their identity. The Male Circumcision for HIV prevention program is totally a human rights violoation since there are very less recognized men's righs laws.
But it is being promoted strongly by the powerfull global organizations such as UN. Since UN is strongly talking Gender Equality, it has a total discrimination policy against men, because it does always talk women right as gender right.
Immediate action should be taken to legalalize and officially recognize well defined men's rights.

Great intro to barefoot running. I am slightly intrigued now.
