5 year progress report for my foreskin restoration

by Tally on August 11, 2013

5 years of foreskin restorationFive years. 60 months. It seems like I have been restoring my foreskin for a long time. I have trouble remembering what it was like before I started restoring my foreskin.

Like most other men, though, I wish I had started years before I did. That way I would have enjoyed the benefits of foreskin restoration for much longer.

After 5 years of tugging my foreskin, I am not yet done. I would have been, and I thought I was done, but I lost 45 pounds since early last year.

The weight loss resulted in a reduction of my fat pad on my abdomen. That means my penis sticks out further. About 1 inch further. With a longer penis, my foreskin cannot cover it the same as before my weight loss. My coverage index went from full flaccid coverage with a bit of overhang, about CI-7 or CI-8, to not quite full flaccid coverage, about a CI-5. With continued tugging, I am back to about CI-6. I have full flaccid coverage most of the time, but my restored foreskin still occasionally spontaneously retracts. More length will fix that. I know because it used to be long enough to not spontaneously retract. Read more . . .

50 Month progress report for my foreskin restoration

by Tally on October 6, 2012

50 Month progress report for restoring my foreskinI am running late with reporting my foreskin restoration progress. I had intended to write a 4 year progress report. Yep, four years. I started restoring in August 2008.

My initial progress was fast. Within 18 months my penis was unrecognizable because I had restored so much of my foreskin. I had full flaccid coverage most of the time. With full flaccid coverage I no longer had that irritation of my penis rubbing against my shorts. I had restored the full luster of my glans and inner foreskin remnant such that the mucous membranes were shiny and pink. I also had the gliding motion of the foreskin. The gliding action was a new experience for me and turned out to be the best part of restoring.

My progress slowed after that, mostly on purpose. With full flaccid coverage I had reached a major milestone. I reduced my tugging sessions from one to two hours a day to about 10 to 15 minutes most days. I was happy with my restored foreskin and I was less motivated to get more. Read more . . .

42 month progress report for my foreskin restoration

by Tally on February 10, 2012

42 month foreskin restoration progress reportI started restoring my foreskin 42 months ago. That is three and one-half years. I have not tugged continuously that whole time, though.

I spent the first 52 years of my life never thinking about my circumcision. Like most others of my generation, I was circumcised shortly after birth. Growing up, I was just like everyone else - circumcised. It was my "normal." It was only when I was researching for my scheduled prostate surgery that I learned about circumcision and the problems that it could cause.

I also learned about foreskin restoration. I started manual tugging with method 2 as soon as I read about it on the web. I was driven. When I started tugging, I tugged a lot. And my progress was rapid. Read more . . .

30 Month progress report for restoring my foreskin

by Tally on February 14, 2011

30 month progress report for restoring my foreskinTwo and a half years ago, I started out with tight erections. Before I started restoring my foreskin, my skin was so tight that my erections were rock hard. I felt like I could drive a nail with my penis it was so hard. I thought that was normal.

My skin was taut when I was erect. If my erection subsided even a little bit, I would lose the rock hardness. I felt less of a man with my penis not being hard as a rock. I remember watching porn and occasionally seeing the man apparently lose his erection. At least, I assumed this when I would see his penis bend and flex, even though it looked erect. Little did I know that a normal erection is not rock hard. What I was seeing was a normal penis in operation.

Now, my skin is loose on my shaft when I am erect. It is very mobile as I experience the gliding action of my restored foreskin. When I am fully erect, my penis is stiff, but it is not rock hard like before. My glans is spongy. It is not pulled tight like it used to be. I am learning that I do not need to be rock hard to enjoy an erection. I no longer have that broomstick with a knob on the end described in Sex as Nature Intended It. Read more . . .

24 Month progress report for restoring foreskin

by Tally on August 10, 2010

24 month foreskin restoration progress reportWoohoo! This is my 2 year anniversary for restoring my foreskin.

It does not seem that I have been restoring that long. In these past 24 months I have seen significant changes to both my penis and my well-being.

When I started restoring, I had tight erections. My shaft skin was taut, which made my erections rock hard. Sort of like having a broomstick with a knob on the end. I am a grower and when flaccid, I did not have any skin mobility. Before restoring I never knew it was possible to pull your skin over your glans. My skin was not that flexible and mobile, then.

Now, after two years of tugging, my erections are not covered with tight skin. My skin moves along my shaft and I have that gliding action that I never knew even existed. I do not have full erect coverage, but that is not a big deal for me. The gliding action is a big deal. It adds a lot to my sexual pleasure. Read more . . .

Almost 2 years of restoring my foreskin

by Tally on August 1, 2010

Almost 24 months of restoring my foreskin to undo my circumcisionIn a few weeks I will have been restoring my foreskin for 2 years. If I had not been keeping track, I would not know how long I had been tugging. Tugging is such a part of my life that I don't really notice it. It is just something I do. I do not dwell on it.

As I get ready to write my 2 year progress report, I have been pondering my restoration efforts. During my two-year journey I have noticed many changes, and not just in the length of my foreskin. These changes are subtle and do not linger because, being subtle, you get used to them almost as fast as you notice them. Read more . . .

21 Month progress report for restoring foreskin

by Tally on May 18, 2010

21 month foreskin restoration progress reportI have been restoring my foreskin for 21 months. Although that is almost two years, looking back, it does not seem that I have been restoring that long. In those 21 months I have experienced significant changes to my penis and my well-being.

Before restoring my erections stretched my shaft skin tight. Now when I am erect my restored foreskin is movable along my shaft, allowing my glans to slide in and out of my foreskin. When I am flaccid, my restored foreskin covers my glans. On cooler days I have overhang, while on the warmer days I have minimal overhang.

The appearance of my penis has also changed in these past 21 months. Before I started, my penis was the same color and texture as the skin elsewhere on my body. Now, my inner foreskin remnant is a nice pink color. My glans is smooth and glossy. Read more . . .

ARGH! My foreskin is not cooperating!

by Tally on March 19, 2010

ARGH! My foreskin is not cooperating!I have been restoring my foreskin for more than 18 months. For about the past year, I have had full flaccid coverage. That is, my foreskin covered my glans when I was flaccid. During the past year, my coverage became more and more reliable. I even developed a pucker. Life was improving, one tug at a time.

But, all that changed last Sunday.

On Sunday my foreskin wanted to stay retracted more than it wanted to be extended. Up until Sunday I was able to walk around naked in the morning with full coverage. During the day, my briefs kept my skin forward. Only at night did I wear a retainer to bed to keep me covered all night. Only rarely would my skin retract. Even then, all I had to do was pull it forward and it would stay there.

Then came Sunday. I woke up and went to the bathroom, where I took of my retainer for the day. It was when I was reading the Sunday paper that I noticed that my restored foreskin was slowly creeping back. My skin retracted until it was just covering my corona. I felt it retract. I looked down and saw that I was between a CI-3 and CI-4 on the coverage index. I am normally about a CI-7. Read more . . .

18 Month progress report for restoring foreskin

by Tally on February 23, 2010

18 month progress report of foreskin restoration of a routine infant circumcisionIt is hard for me to believe, but I have been tugging my foreskin for 18 months. When I started tugging, I thought I would be done by now. I have come a long way, but I still have a bunch more skin to grow.

When I started tugging, my shaft skin was tight when I was erect. My glans and shaft were the same color as the skin on the rest of my body.

Now, 18 months later, I look down and I don't recognize that thing hanging between my legs. It does not look like the dick I had a year and a half ago. Not only are my glans and inner foreskin remnant a nice pink color, they are also smooth and glossy. Even when I am flaccid, my glans normally is smooth and shiny Read more . . .

Measuring foreskin restoration progress

by Tally on December 18, 2009

Measuring foreskin restoration progressRestoring foreskin takes time. I have been restoring my foreskin for over a year. The difference between when I started and now is truly amazing. But, the skin grows so slowly, it is not really possible to see any difference day to day or even week by week. Being able to see restoration progress was a great way to motivate me to keep on restoring when I first started.

I've used several methods to measure my progress. Good objective measurement of restoring progress is difficult, at best. The skin grows slowly, so the changes cannot be seen just by looking at your foreskin. Measuring skin length is not easy because the skin stretches when you pull on it and the skin is very flexible.
