I, too, had a blotched penis; however I had two fairly small skin bridges, as opposed to yours. When I turned 14 I simply put ice on the skin bridges to numben them, and proceeded to cut them off with a disinfected pair of surgeon's scissors. So, this problem was solved without an issue.
However, because of my circumcision I have yet another scar that I've found. Unlike the skin bridges, this 'problem' is located on the underside of my penis. What it basically is is a small pocket on the shaft of the underside of my penis that collects dirt called smegma. I hate it, and although it isn't very noticeable, it is very embarrassing. I'm still not sure what it is called, and I simply won't go to the doctors in fear of my parents finding out. (It doesn't cause any pain, and I am certain that it won't get any worse. I've had it for years, and it hasn't changed. This is something that I don't mind waiting a few years to resolve.)
Mainly, I'd like to know what this is, so that I may research its cause, and whether or not it can be fixed via surgery or incision.
When I was married and we were expecting a son, my then wife wanted to have him circumcised. I absolutely refused, so it didn't happen. A year later she said mine was the best penis in her considerable experience. When the second one was born, not only was there no discussion, but she advised a few other women not to have their newborn sons mutilated.
I also went to a local department store and picked up some cotton baby socks to use as protection for my circumsized penis. I found the "newborn" size worked best because it held on when flacid and allowed for growth as needed without becoming unfortable. A tip is to roll the newborn sock inside out. That way the seam across the toes will not come in direct contact with your glans. Newborn white cotton socks are very inexpensive and easy to use.
As an intact man with a tight foreskin - who has also undergone frenuloplasty for frenulum breve - I'd like to contribute something about frenulum sensitivty, perhaps it's of value.
I've seen a lot of cut guys complain about their missing frenulum - as is their right. But my point to restoring men is that the frenulum isn't necessarily this amazing male G-spot:
My frenulum was so thick and tight that I couldn't retract. If I stayed erect for a long time, the frenulum would become sore - for most of my life I thought that was normal. That area was like gristle, it was so tight. For me as an intact male, my frenulum only felt pain, not pleasure -- I realised the good feelings from touching my frenulum was in fact pressure on the area itself - especially pulling on the meatus. Now, post-frenuloplasty, that still feels exactly as good.
Although no tissue is lost in a frenuloplasty (as the frenulum is just a crease in the skin), I can claim to be an intact man with little-to-no frenulum, now. Prior to the op I worried I'd lose sensitivty by losing my frenulum - but I haven't lost one iota - I've only lost discomfort.
Perhaps mine was a special case due to the tightness, but my point is: once you've restored your foreskin and have regained glans sensitivity, you'll be feeling what a lot of intact men feel. For me it was the frenular area that felt great - as it still does - and not the frenulum itself.
I hope that was of value to someone. Keep up the good work, all of you.
I assume that you are intact (uncircumcised or uncut). You may have frenulum breve, which is a frenulum that is too short to function properly. The foreskin is pushed back during sex, stretching the frenulum. In your case, it is stretching the frenulum so much that you are getting skin tears. I suggest that you contact a foreskin friendly urologist. You may need to have your frenulum cut (not removed) so that it does not stretch taut during sex. The frenulum is one of the most sensitive parts of the penis. You do not want to lose it. Circumcision is NEVER the answer to frenulum breve.
A: The glans is not that sensitive, even for an intact man. The glans has mostly pressure and pain sensors. The fine touch sensors are in the inner foreskin and frenulum. Dekeratinization will allow the inner foreskin remnant and frenulum to regain their lost sensitivity.
My glans, although it feels good to stroke it, is not where I get most of my sexual pleasure. Most of my sensitivity and pleasure is focused in my frenulum remnant and then in my inner foreskin remnant. My glans corona is also sensitive.
Cross-taping, like other retaining methods, will keep the glans covered, allowing sensitivity to be regained.
Q: Is it possible to re-obtain the glans' sensitivity first, and then restore the skin itself?
A: These are two issues. A person can protect their mucous membranes and thereby regain lost sensitivity. A person can restore their foreskin to regain some of the lost functionality of the foreskin. You can do both at once, or one at a time. If you restore, you will naturally regain lost sensitivity when there is enough skin to cover the glans 24/7.
Wear a retainer to pull your skin forward and protect your inner foreskin and glans. This will allow you to regain your sensitivity.
Restore your foreskin to regain some lost functions such as the gliding action and the natural protection of your inner foreskin and glans.
Q: Is there, at any point in the de-keratinising process, a shedding of a horny layer of skin comparable to a snake moulting?
A: No.Dekeratinization is the natural sloughing off of the callous layer covering the mucous membrane. The callous layer does not come off in one piece. Sometimes it looks like a peeling sunburn. Sometimes it is invisible. Dekeratinization can happen in a week or it may take months. Do it. You will know when it happens.
To prevent further keratinising of the glans, use sheabutter cream on it three times a day. This cream itself will help soften the skin and slowly remove that rough skin that has formed over the years. I gave up on taping years ago as it was a nuisance. I just prefer to manual tug whenever I get the time. It is better than nothing!
Hello! Right now, I have medical tape in hand and am about to begin my journey in foreskin restoration. I have previously found myself to be a CI-2 and an RCI-2 or 3, but I am a little uncertain as to what the restoration actually consists of. I have cross-taping in mind, at least when starting.
I would like to try to regain the glans' sensitivity first. I recognise that:
• As a result of being exposed to the outside world continually for years on end, the glans of the circumcised will become horny [keratinous], akin to a callus forming on one's toe. This reduces the glans' sensitivity and, in some cases, changes the glans' colour to match the rest of the skin. The glans, which was initially a mucous structure (like the back of one's eyelids), becomes more like the skin on one's arm.
• To regain the glans' full intrinsic sensitivity, the horny invisible callus needs to be destroyed.
• For the callus to disappear, the glans must be continually covered. In most males, the foreskin serves this purpose, keeping the callus from forming in the first place.
My questions are:
• How is the glans' sensitivity restored? Does it come with the restoration of the foreskin, as a result of being covered continually? I'm considering cross-taping; would that work to bring back sensitivity?
• Is it possible to re-obtain the glans' sensitivity first, and then restore the skin itself? What would this consist of, and how would it continue through the restoration process? Is de-keratinising done before restoring the actual skin, or in conjunction with it, or what?
• Is there, at any point in the de-keratinising process, a shedding of a horny layer of skin comparable to a snake moulting? Or is the process gradual, observable only by the increased pleasure in the area, the return of the natural colouration, et cetera? How do I know when the glans' sensitivity is fully restored? (Notice — I acknowledge that the Meissner's corpuscles in the foreskin are irreplacable with current technology. But the glans is not removed in any circumcision except botched ones, and if I recall correctly, the glans' full sensitivity can be returned.)
Thank you to anybody who can answer these questions about restoration.
I m 26 yrs old. i having problem during sex ......i got cut on frenulum during sex and after blood is comes out, i examine the cut and find out that frenulum got cut and after some time no pain no any erection, after some days again during sex my frenulum gone cut agian and blood come out....so what to do now, is that my frenulum having some problem or my frenulum still not dolvepled and during masturbate no problem at all.
The nice thing about being intact is that very little maintenance is needed. An infant or toddler only needs to have the outside wiped like a finger. When the foreskin finally starts retracting, which can happen anytime between 3 and 15 years of age, he needs only retract and rinse under the foreskin with water. Never use soap because soap will dry out and irritate the sensitive mucous membranes under the foreskin.
Children are mirrors of the parents. That is, any fears you have will likely be reflected by your children. Intact is different than circumcised. But it is not that different. To him, his penis is normal. It is what he has and what he is used to. He will not be concerned about the status of his penis unless you are and you make it an issue.
The correct anatomical name for the penis is "penis." To use a euphemism like "tee tee" instead of the correct anatomical name teaches that the penis is taboo. Children often learn that their sex organs are shameful. Teaching the accurate and scientific name for the penis and its various parts teaches the boy about his anatomy. That leads to learning respect for his body. If he asks, your son has a foreskin that covers his glans. You do not have a foreskin because it was removed through circumcision. Tell him the truth using anatomically correct names. He may surprise you with his understanding.
The best way to get answers to questions like yours is to start wearing a retainer.
After you regain full sensitivity from wearing a retainer, you will know when you have enough skin to not wear the retainer. When you have enough skin to cover your glans, your sensitive bits will be protected and you will not have irritation from those sensitive bits rubbing against your clothes. You will know that you no longer need to wear a retainer when you can comfortably not wear it.
I am a 22 y/o male who has the miraculous opportunity to have a very beautiful wife and my pride and joy a 4 1/2 y/o step son I've been so frightened because he is intact and I am cut I've been doing a ton of research on this learning the ins and out of how to deal with cleaning habits so on and so forth and also freaking out knowing that I will need to have this talk with him one day... I've also be extremely careful to be sure he doesn't sneak a peek at mine (public bathroom situations ) because I know he will have questions as to why my tee tee looks different than his.
Firstly, thank you for the information and incredibly prompt reply, and for clearing up many of my questions.
To specify and ensure my own understanding, allow me to first state that I understand that restoring the glans' sensitivty and restoring the actual skin are two separate matters. By my first question, I was wondering whether I would need to (near-)continually use a retainer until the glans is covered. IPerhaps I could better phrase it – how do I tell when I no longer need it? Is it simply by vision that I would tell whether the glans is covered? I would assume on my own I should keep the uncovered portion of the glans covered until the entirety of it is protected by skin; is this the case? Forgive me if I appear naïve; in a sense I am in this regard, near-completely unaware as to all these details. Thank you in advance for your reply.
First, wearing a retainer will not restore your foreskin. The purpose of the retainer is to pull your skin forward to protect your glans. A protected glans will soon return to its natural sensitivity, allowing you to enjoy your favorite body part. If you wear a retainer, you need to wear it 24/7 or as long as necessary to keep your glans covered 24/7. Proper hygiene requires that the retainer be regularly cleaned by washing (if it is washable) or by replacing it (if it is not washable).
Second, if you want to restore your foreskin, you need to tug your skin. See the Beginner's Guide to Foreskin Restoration for information. Tugging can be for a few minutes at a time (if you manual tug) to several hours at a time (if you wear a device). There are many methods and techniques, and they all work. The key is to find a method and routine that fits your lifestyle so that you tug regularly.
You can use your penis as you like when you are not tugging (or wearing a retainer). After you regain your sensitivity from keeping your glans covered, wash your penis with water. Do not use soap because it will dry out and irritate the mucous membranes. Rinsing with water is adequate for almost everyone.
Hello! Firstly, a bit of background. I was born in the US and so routine-circumcised. Fortunately, I am still a teenager so 1) my sex life hasn't yet begun, and 2) restoring should be easier than if I were to start later on, and I can enjoy the benefits longer.
[Of course, once stem cells or something allows me to get a ridged band and lost Meissner's corpuscles back, which can't be too far, I'll use them to truly restore it completely. Given we have grown rat hearts and kidneys, and human tracheae and bladders, surely skin with blood vessels, nerves, and muscles can't be too far behind. Until then, this is better than nothing ^_^;]
Talking with my physician a few days ago, she seems supportive but has no details. For this, allow me to ask a few questions:
• Will I need to keep this on every day until there is enough restored foreskin to re-cover the glans? If so, should I keep the same one on (presumably washing it) or must I change it for a new one? Relevant to this, should I just use this for some time before restoring the skin, or should I do both right from the start? Also, how would I know if this is 'working' to dekeratinise the glans or not? I've heard colour change, but what else?
• Is it still okay for me to pleasure myself (you know what I mean) while doing this without detrimenting the procedure? That would consist of taking it off for a moment, having my fun, and then putting it back. Should I wash my glans afterward? (Should it apply, I do not use any artifical lubricants or the like. Just my hand and myself.)
If it would help to know, I also sleep naked. Although I remember from elsewhere on here that tugging is most effective when cyclical and not constant, what about dekeratinising the glans? Thank you to anyone who can assist.
CRIPES! I wish I would of seen this before I ever had the catheter insterted! - I quite suddenly went from orange urine non cloudy to cloudy on Saturday - then red and small blood clots on Sunday - to not being able to urinate on Monday. My primary care sent me over to a urology office - ( and me being really unknowning - but no paid) the doctor did a 2 minute look - a rectal prostrate exam - and then said to the assistant to put in a catheter.
He did - but only sprayed on the outside - no effect - then started the insertion - so painful I screamed like a little girl - and then it hurt as he then did some "flushing" to remove stringy blood clots - thet he threw away. Went home - but still could not urninate - so had to get into office. They said - "oh that catheter was too small so we will need to remove - place in another larger one and flush out the bladder, again.
This time when the assistant was trying to insert I was so loud that a doctor came in and placed lubricant on the catheter - but NO local or internal pain stoppage or relief. After it was in and over two cups of stringy blood clots (think afterbirth) the doctor said well give him a shot of morphine - belive me it did not have much effect on the penis pain.
Had a Cat-Scan that showed no issues with Kidneys - and some gall stones, but not substantial
Just yesterday went in for appointment and the doctor said that he wanted it removed and then he was going to look at my bladder - by using a light thru the urniary track - after the very apinful removal - and my yelling - he came back in and said he would rather wait for two weeks. The nurse when asked about pain involved said yes there was - so I asked how can it be managed - and she said get some valium.. I had just taked two valium before I came in - and I can tell you it did not help!
Thanks for the honest comment, sweetheart! Nurses Rock!!
I've been restoring a foreskin primarily because vaginal sex has been uncomfortable for my wife for a long time. She suffers from a lack of lubrication, even when sexually excited. Artificial lubrication--even Astro Glide, isn't like the real thing. We just made love when I returned from being at sea and she enjoyed it more than she had for a long time! That's because we hadn't made love for a few months and I've been aggressively stretching my new foreskin to cover enough of my glans so when I'm inside my wife, with gentle in and out stroking, my penis shaft and most of my glans move inside the skin tube and don't have an abrasive action against her vaginal lining. I'm convinced that circumcism is a barbaric practice and should end! It's not as extreme as female genital mutilation that the Muslims force on their young girls, but is very damaging to a natural loving relationship between a man and woman. An Alaska native woman friend of mine told me several years ago that she knew there was a big difference between sex with a natural man vs a cut man. She loved having sex with an uncut man. She might have helped me to save my marriage because I started to study the issue and have asked a few trusted women friends if they thought there was a difference betwen sex with cut vs uncut men. Not all believe there's a difference. Of course, if the man has a very small cut penis, a woman with a large vagina may not feel much compared to how she'd feel if her lover had a very large cut penis. She could feel real discomfort with a large lover if she suffered from a lack of lubrication or had a very tight vagina. My penis is on the very large side with a very large glans and that makes being uncut even worse for the woman than if I had a little dick. I've grown 3" of new foreskin so far and my goal is to continue stretching until I've grown 5" of new skin. My wife will be happy that I've taken this big step and our relationship is already very much improved! I've told the entire truth here and ask that others do as well. I'm advising both of my daughters to not have future sons circumcised.

Uncircumcised men feel way better! I don't want to come off sounding like a *****, but I've been with enough guys to know. I don't know where the myth of it smelling bad came from because I've never had a bad experience. I've had worse experiences with guys who were cut. Every guy who's had foreskin has had way more pleasure! Their sensitive spots are a lot more sensitive and you can just tell that they are having a lot more fun; the way they arch their back and moan. As a nurse I am totally against circumcision. It's cruel and has absolutely NO medical benefit. We need to start teaching high-school students about this as it seems to be a widely believed myth. I love an uncut man.
I'm curious what the different sizes of those nipples are, in mm, as shown in the picture with the 4 of them cut up and ready to use? I'm assuming they're all cut at the base where they start to flare out to be held by the lid of the bottle. Really dont want to go to the drugstore with my caliper and stand there measuring 'em lol
If she's doing something that hurts you, you should talk to her about it early on not let things go on until you're injured. Conversely you both could talk about things you like that eachother does, things you'd like to do etc etc. No one's a mind reader... open communicatin is key. Even after you've restored, it still isn't going to be good for her to do that with no extra lube and you may end up right back where you are now with some kind of injuries.
First, you need to let your penis heal completely. Five days is not enough. Initially, avoiding erections will help. But the important thing is to avoid any rubbing or pulling of the damaged area. If your circumcision is so tight that the cut opens when you get an erection, then you need to avoid getting an erection, which is difficult to do.
Second, you need to consider how you masturbate. An intact penis has the foreskin's gliding action that allows masturbation without direct friction on the penis. We lose that gliding action by being circumcised. So we move our hands over our inner foreskin remnant and glans. The friction brings us pleasure and, oftentimes, pain from abrasion. That is why many use a lubricant when masturbating.
Examine your penis. Is the pain and discomfort from abrasion? Perhaps you could use more or a different type of lubricant. Perhaps your grip is too tight.
Restoring Tally is just an ordinary guy who had to confront his prostate and circumcision problems. This site chronicles his journey in dealing with these issues. He has had prostate surgery and he is restoring his foreskin.

The Bill was referred to the Subcommittee on Health in 2011, where no action was taken and the Bill died when the 112th Congress ended.
At this time the Bill is no threat. A Congressman would have to re-introduce a bill for the matter to be taken up again. No one has done that, yet.
What happened with this bill ? Does anyone have updates? Thanks.
You forgot a disadvantage, nerves can be cut off at the circumcision, to me vanished all feeling above the surgical site.
