Foreskin restoration motivation

The number one reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have gotten.Foreskin restoration takes time and patience. Knowing how much I have grown and recognizing the benefits from restoring motivates me to keep on tugging.

Fortunately, progress is often easily seen. Before I started restoring my foreskin, I had tight erections. Within a week of starting manual tugging, I noticed my skin was more flexible and it was much more mobile. Before restoring I never knew that my shaft skin could move back and forth when I was flaccid.

After a month of restoring I noticed that my shaft skin had lots of wrinkles. Then I noticed that my shaft skin was starting to bunch up behind my corona. The inner foreskin remnant that was inside the folds of skin next to my corona became more sensitive because the tissue was protected from rubbing against my shorts.

At around the four month mark I started masturbating differently. I could not pull my new skin over my glans when erect, but my shaft skin was much more mobile when I was erect. I could move it back and forth, causing it to bump against my corona. That felt good, really good. Eventually my skin grew enough where it would start to roll over my corona when masturbating. That is when I stopped using lube to jerk off.

A few months later I started to get whole body orgasms. I would reach a point where I would feel a flush moving through my body. Then I would get a tingly feeling in my scalp. Instead of just ejaculating like I did before as a circumcised man, my whole body felt the pleasure as I kept stroking my penis with my newly grown skin.

My foreskin restoration milestones are not just limited to my penis. I feel more comfortable in my body. I remember that first time I was walking along and thought to myself, "I feel comfortable down there. I don't feel any irritation from rubbing." Emotionally, I feel more at ease with myself.

Foreskin restoration site RestoringForeskin.org is three years old this week. Restoring Foreskin.org is a site dedicated to men who wish to undo the damage and harm caused by their circumcision. The site offers information on foreskin restoration and offers support and encouragement to restorers.

Happy third birthday Restoring Foreskin.orgTwo years, two weeks, and two days ago, the popular foreskin restoration site RestoreForeskin.org announced that it was shutting down in two weeks. I and many others did not want such a valuable resource to disappear. QBMan volunteered to help me build this site. After two weeks of intensive effort, RestoringForeskin.org was born.

When I decided to start RestoringForeskin.org, I never imagined that it would grow like it has. I also never imagined how much work was required to build it, and the amount of work required to keep it running. I am very thankful to those who have volunteered to help. I really appreciate the site moderators, who keep the site on an even keel, and the site sponsors who ensure the funds to keep RestoringForeskin.org on-line. 42 month foreskin restoration progress reportI started restoring my foreskin 42 months ago. That is three and one-half years. I have not tugged continuously that whole time, though.

I spent the first 52 years of my life never thinking about my circumcision. Like most others of my generation, I was circumcised shortly after birth. Growing up, I was just like everyone else - circumcised. It was my "normal." It was only when I was researching for my scheduled prostate surgery that I learned about circumcision and the problems that it could cause.

I also learned about foreskin restoration. I started manual tugging with method 2 as soon as I read about it on the web. I was driven. When I started tugging, I tugged a lot. And my progress was rapid. Read more . . .

The vast majority of men who are restoring their foreskin cite "lack of sensation" as their main reason for restoring. I'd like to share some of my own story to regain the sensitivity that was lost due to being circumcised as an infant.

If you have ever been having intercourse or receiving oral sex from your partner and it did not feel quite the way you thought it should, it may be due to a loss of sensation on your glans (the "head" of your penis). Many circumcised men suffer from this and don't even realize what's causing it. In fact, men's health forums are usually filled with posts about this problem.

They ask, "Why don't I feel anything during sex?" or "Why can't I tell if I'm inside my partner?"

I knew I had a problem with lack of penile sensitivity as young as 16 years old. By my mid-20s, I would estimate that I'd lost up to 80% of the feeling on my glans. (Although there's no way to accurately measure, that is my best guess.) That is a pretty drastic reduction, but many guys have the same kind of damage from circumcision. Read more . . .

Foreskin Restoration at Burning Man 2011

Burning Man 2011 themeEvery year Burning Man is held in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. This year's Burning Man starts Monday, August 29 and runs through Labor Day, September 5. Burning Man's Black Rock City is dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.

I would love to make it to Burning Man some year.

I just found out that a foreskin restoration Playa Event is scheduled at this year's Burning Man on August 30 at 5pm.

I think it is great that someone restoring his foreskin is giving a class/workshop there.

Foreskin restoration featured on TLC's Strange Sex

TLC Tugger foreskin restoration device made by Ron LowThe Learning Channel's show, Strange Sex, featured Ron Low and foreskin restoration on its Season Premier April 3. The show was again featured on May 15. Ron Low is the maker of the TLC Tugger and other restoring devices.

The show is making an impact as it educates the American public about the male foreskin and how a foreskin is a good thing to have. The show put foreskin restoration in a good light. The producers allowed Ron to tell his story, which is one of improving his sex life by restoring his foreskin. Ron is a dedicated intactivist. Foreskin Restoration and Intactivist Calendars

Foreskin Restoration and Intactivist public Google calendarI created two public Google calendars: one for foreskin restoration and another for intactivism. These calendars can be freely copied and posted on other websites.

The Foreskin Restoration Google calendar shows Foreskin Restoration events. The foreskin restoration calendar has events such as NORM meetings and other meet ups that are of interest to those restoring their foreskin.

The Intactivist Google Calendar shows Intactivist events. The intactivism calendar has events such as demonstrations and marches for genital integrity and against infant circumcision. The intactivist calendar also includes notices of local intactivist meetings and other important events, for example, the date San Francisco residents vote on the SF MGM Bill to ban infant circumcision in San Francisco, California. Restoring Foreskin.org second birthdayForeskin restoration site RestoringForeskin.org is two years old today. Restoring Foreskin.org is a site dedicated to men who wish to undo the damage and harm caused by their circumcision.

Two years and two weeks ago, the popular foreskin restoration site RestoreForeskin.org announced that it was shutting down in two weeks. Craig, the site admin, was not responding to anyone's request for information. Nor was he responding to any offers to take over the site.

I saw the need for a replacement site and quickly posted a request for help in building a new site. There was not much time. If a new site was to be built before RestoreForeskin.org shut down, it would require more than one person. QBMan, a Canadian restorer, stepped up and volunteered. Loose circumcision or a short foreskin?

I’m 20 years old, and like approximately 60% of boys born in the United States the same year as me, I was circumcised. I assume this was just a regular RIC (routine infant circumcision), most likely taking place within a few hours or days of my birth. The issue of my penile intactness (or lack thereof) has never come up with my parents, not even once, so I’ve always just assumed that there were no unusual or noteworthy circumstances behind it.

Given that the topic never came up with my parents, I didn’t know what circumcision was until I was about 10, which I suppose is a pretty typical age to find that sort of thing out. I learned through a topic on the Off-Topic section of a message board I went on at the time (most people on that site were a little older than me). It was something like “What do you think of circumcision?”, but the topic creator didn’t really explain what circumcision was other than “Personally, I can’t imagine going through life without the tip of my penis.”

Naturally, I assumed this meant cutting off the head - for me, that WAS the tip of my penis. So I looked it up on whatever search engine people used before Google to find out why anyone would ever do that. Lo and behold, I learned what circumcision *actually* was. But, there was one problem. 30 month progress report for restoring my foreskinTwo and a half years ago, I started out with tight erections. Before I started restoring my foreskin, my skin was so tight that my erections were rock hard. I felt like I could drive a nail with my penis it was so hard. I thought that was normal.

My skin was taut when I was erect. If my erection subsided even a little bit, I would lose the rock hardness. I felt less of a man with my penis not being hard as a rock. I remember watching porn and occasionally seeing the man apparently lose his erection. At least, I assumed this when I would see his penis bend and flex, even though it looked erect. Little did I know that a normal erection is not rock hard. What I was seeing was a normal penis in operation.

Now, my skin is loose on my shaft when I am erect. It is very mobile as I experience the gliding action of my restored foreskin. When I am fully erect, my penis is stiff, but it is not rock hard like before. My glans is spongy. It is not pulled tight like it used to be. I am learning that I do not need to be rock hard to enjoy an erection. I no longer have that broomstick with a knob on the end described in Sex as Nature Intended It. Read more . . .
