    Best wishes

You were lucky to have the choice, millions of men did not. The permanently exposed glans will certainly be exciting for six months or so. Hopefully you will not experience the falling off in sensation experienced by other circumcised men as they age. There is a natural degeneration in the nervous system from about the age of forty. By age 90 this will have declined to about 25% of normal. For a circumcised man this decline to 25% happens earlier, by around the age of 60. Neonatal circumcision seems to be more damaging than adult circumcision. In my experience I can say that I have more sensitivity now after restoration than I ever had when I was a teenager. Since restoring my foreskin to keep my glans corona covered continuously I have exerienced my first full body orgasm at age 64. If you still have your frenulum left and can keep your glans corona covered you should be able to maintain much sensitivity, although you will not be able to experience the gliding action which reduces vaginal friction. I hope you will not live to regret your decision. Best wishes.

    Penile Cancer

Circumcision does not prevent penile cancer, a rare cancer usually found in older men. Penile cancer in the intact penis occurs on the glans or foreskin, but after circumcision a tumour is most likely to develop on the surgical scar. See: British Medical Journal, June 15, 1907, p 1412; Boczko, S. & Freed, S. Penile Carcinoma in Circumcised Males N Y State J Med 1979; 79:1903-4; Rogus, B.J. After montAdhs of

After montAdhs of deliberation taking the plunge and getting circumcised was one of the best things I could have ever done in terms of improving my body image (I can't comment on improving things sexually yet as I haven't had my end away since getting cut). There is so much information about this operation on the internet, so much of which is biased, and some of which is just plain absurd - but then I suppose considering it concerns 'altering' a mans-manhood that's to be expected. Time has yet to tell on whether or not I will lose sensitivity but all I can say on this front is that if I lose some of the hyper-sensitivity that I have then I see this as a bonus! Whilst I still don't have the finished product swinging between my legs, from how things are progressing I feel that Dr Zarifa has done a brilliant job on my cock and I can't wait to show it off to future girlfriends - I'd be interested to hear some more of the female 'take' on circumcision - as well as finding out what sex feels like with a cut dick. All I can say to any guy who finds himself considering getting cut (whether for medical, cosmetic or personal reasons) is go for it! It's great to feel my helmet rubbing on my underwear - whether out clubbing, working, shopping, wherever and as for the cleanliness side of things, I love not having a cock that smells like a bag of scampi fries if I don't wash it several times a day, and I definitely don't miss having to wipe around the toilet first thing in the morning due to the inevitable spray that comes with having a foreskin. Orgasms from wanking are amazing - and I find that if I want to I can still cum as quickly as I did when I had a foreskin, however I am getting a bit hacked off with having to wipe spunk off of the ceiling (okay a slight exaggeration but I am certainly spurting now instead of dribbling!). All that's left is a massive big-up for the people at Custom House surgery in London and in particular Dr Zuhair Zarifa - circumciser extraordinaire!

    Hey John about your question

It was done by a uroligist (sp). Im in the U.S. it did leave little scar on the head of my penis. There were 3 stitches on each side of the cut. The Dr. gave me a shot to num it. Which i did end up feeling a lil bit when he cut it. The total cost was 4-5 hundred dollars US. My insurance covered all but about 150 out of pocket. I was in and out within a half hour. Hope this helps you out John from Australia. If you have other question feel free to ask.

Im from Melbourne Australia, not sure where you are from but if your from Australia do you know of a good doctor? (is it a GP or a plastic surgoen)

    Thanks so so much.

    Foreskin restoration has many benefits

Circumcision is a cosmetic surgery. A man can be circumcised or re-circumcised at any time. It is very rare for a man to restore his foreskin and want to be circumcised again. I know of only one case where a man restored and then got re-circumcised. He was not satisfied with his re-circumcision so he was circumcised again.

Even though foreskin restoration is a slow, drawn out process, the benefits are often seen quickly. The skin gets more flexible and mobile. Sensitivity increases as the glans and inner foreskin remnant dekeratinize. If a man were to decide that these benefits are not good, he can stop tugging and the tissue will keratinize and no more skin will grow. There will even be a slight shrinkage of the newly grown skin as the temporary swelling from tugging goes down. In other words, someone should know soon after starting his foreskin restoration if they like it or not, and stopping before progressing too far will return the penis to almost the same condition as before he started.

    New to intact men

I am new to an intact man.  It was a little weird at first when I found out.  I ran into an old friend of mine and we hooked up.  At first I didn't know he was intact until after the fact.  The sex was amazing.  More so than with any man I was with who was cut.  I had an orgasm every time and just figured it was great sex until I started dating this guy (different guy) and he was also intact.  How I managed to find two intact guys in a row I don't know but again the sex was amazing.  So my research began.  I have found out that it seems to be easier for women to have an orgasm with an intact man.  I am hoping things work out with this guy but if they don't I hope I never find a cut man again.

    Circumcision

How is it ever forgivable to cut another persons sexual organs off? I never wanted this done to my penis and now part of my glans is missing since birth. Why would anyone do this. Why is there no law protecting me when I was strapped down against my will and had my penis cut up in this manner. No one has the right to cut my penis up like this. I hate relegious freaks for doing this in the name of religion. Why are we such a sick society to let this keep happening. Just disgusting.

    Skin bridge

I had the same thing that i lived with for 38 yrs. At the begining of the year i decided that i wanted it cut. Was nervous at first. To this day i wish i had it taken care of yrs ago. Sex is so much better now. Since then i have also been restoring my foreskinwith a tugging device. I know have some loose skin and when flaccid partially covers my penis while sitting. Sex is more pleasurable now. But still not where i want it to be. Just love the way my penis looks now.

    Keep it covered

To improve the texture and sensitivity of your glans and inner foreskin remnant, you need to keep covered 24/7. I have used Vitamin E oil to retain moistness of my penis. Others use hand creams and moisturizers. But to keep your penis healthy long term, you need to keep your skin covered.

Another alternative is to wear something like the Manhood to keep your penis covered so it keeps its natural condition.

Giving this an attempt for restoration

I've never done this and have had sensitivity issues now, for some time. I have very rough, scaly glans and have mch to blame towards woman in my life not knowing what their doing and dry rubbing me during oral sex with their hand. My current girlfriend has been the worst for this and her wanting sex 2-3 times a day had brought my arrousal due to lack of any feeling to an abrubt halt. It started by not wanting to say during sex that she was hurting me and then not fillfilling myself most of the time while using alternative methods to fullfill her. I finally had to say something after it had gotten so bad and I did the research. I told her to never stroke me without adequite saliva or lube. I can start with an erect penis and quickly droop after she touches me and the agony and disastisfaction would ruin my demeanor and disrupt my abiliity to hold any erection. She has even made me bleed before. So in my search to figure out how to fix this it seems a common.iszue and resolve is restoration. I used to be so sensative id pre-ejaculate before. Now I go 2 hours and fall tired with exhaustion and nothing but frustration when getting so close and never reaching an orgasm. K appreciate this site and intend to keep in touch with my new venture in restoring and caring for my body. I'm curious if it is worth using an lotions to attain additional smoothness or if it is better to get myself sweaty throughout the day. I've found if I don't wipe myself down with a towel after sex that the body okls seem to promote snoother skin.

    Too late

Just over the course of two weeks I have been getting alot of insight (thanks to my cousin) about male circumcsion. At first I did not care to hear it because it's the norm and every male infant get's it done. I watched how it was done on youtube and it was horrifying, I could not watch it any longer, I was literally sick at my stomach. My cousin continued to post stories and tell me more about this, and now I TRUELY regret having it done to my two boys. Everytime I change my youngest son's diaper I see what torture he must have went through, and it saddens me deeply.  It is too late for my boy's but I will spread the word and let young and old mother's know about this devastaing procedure.

    What a wonderful, final outcome!

Mel, you deserve a large feather in your cap. Your tale had me gripped from the beginning to its triumphant end. My heart was warmed and my emotions turned to tears. You are a Dad in a million!

I had to be circumcised as an adult necessity following paraphimosis; but that's only relevant because it made me think twice about 'restoring' - and decide against it. Why? Because I had already experienced the immeasurable benefits of owning a natural foreskin. Trying to gain back something of what I had lost and once knew, without its myriad fine-touch receptors in place, was - in my mind - tantamount to stroking the back of my hand compared with stroking my palm. That in no way makes restoration any the less worthwhile for those circumcised at birth or in boyhood who will never know the experience of a natural penis. It just explains why I chose not to try.

Your son will remember his part in the story of his young life... and forever be thankful, I'm very sure. I join everyone in applauding your selfless and inspiring efforts on his behalf.

    Christopher

TAKE THE ADVISE OF AN EXPERT!!

Let me give you the perspective of one who has the advantage of a fairly unique position.  I'm in my 60s and  I remain intact (thank goodness) while both my older and younger brothers were routinely circumcized.

To this day I don't know how or why I escaped circumcision, but since childhood and my life long I've felt both outraged at my parents and sorry for my brothers.  I have always sensed that my brothers resented it (I won't go into detail), though I've never actually brought up the subject with any family members, as I don'I want to hurt them or remind my brothers of what they're missing.

My parents are both gone now and I loved them very much, but deep down inside, I'm angry that my brothers were mutilated and for no logical reason.  If it makes me this upset, and I'm the one who escaped, how might my brothers silently suffered all these years?  It's the 21st goddam century now, and people are still routinely getting their sons circumcized!  Such a decision can only be made by people who are extremely ignorant about the subject.

Remember that circumcized fathers who choose this for their sons (or make the mistake of allowing their wives any input on the one subject they should have no voice in) simply never knew what it's like to have a foreskin.  Countless circumcized men who have educated themselves today are seeking foreskin restoration.  I pity them as well - they can never fully regain what has been lost.  If you parents out there don't think this is a big deal, then that's even more reason NOT to do it.  Your son may have much stronger feelings about it some day!!

    Have you sought the council

Have you sought the council of lawyers? How can there be a statute of limitations on issues like this? That is just morally reprehensible. Have  you not tried bullying them or pestering them or making them, or don't you want to go to war against them somehow, so that they may do your case just to shut you up? If I had this happen I would have been provoked. Your story if so sad. I feel so much pity for you all, but also deep respect and admiration

I don't think people shoud sue if they don't want to. But if they want to or if they are on the fence, I think they should consider it, and try to get as big of a payoff as possible. if you get a million dollars and you don't want to keep all the money, you can donate it to intactivist networks or foregen for research. But this sends a message more than anything, that they can be financially liable for what they do against newborn boys. We know they have no moral conscience but maybe financial risk will wake them up. Anyone who really want to hold them to financial accountability and has a decent shot should consider it, and don't be shy or ashamed but ask for a lot. Claim not just loss but trauma. No holds barred. This helps us all in the backlash movement, and helps raise consciousness so that other boys can be spared

    I would get it fixed

Because you are still a minor, I suggest telling your parents about the skin bridge. It may be embarrassing, but they had you circumcised in the first place. They should be given the opportunity to fix your problem.

If your parents have medical insurance, it should pay for the surgery because it is a complication of your circumcision and it only manifested itself when you reached puberty. If you currently have pain, it would be a good idea to get the bridge cut. Just make sure the doc only removes the minimum necessary. And, before any surgery, research the heck out of it before allowing it to be done. Always ask questions of the doctor. If you are not satisfied or happy with the doctor, do not let him cut you.

    smaller but still an issue

I did not even know I was circumsized until last year (I'm 16). I had never watched porn, and all the sex ed diagrams were so complicated I assumed everyone's looked like mine. Then I noticed that no other circumsized penises had the skin bridge, and so I just looked up this site. Your story is amazing. Mine isn't as large (1-2 inches), but it still gets in the way. Because I was unaware I was different, it never detered me from sex. I am still a virgin, but I get blowjobs from my girlfriend occasionally. However, I've never been able to finish when she does this, and now I realize it is probably due to the skin bridge. It is also somewhat painful, and I usually have her stop after a little while. It is more emotional for me than sexual.

It sounds, though, like the surgery cause more problems than it fixed. I can still masterbate fairly easily (half an hour tops), so I think I'll just leave it the way it is. My girlfriend doesn't mind either. If she is willing to go down on me, a little more skin won't deter her.
