Choose Intact: Forgiving (and Ignoring) Bullies
A postcard in PostSecret sets the author thinking about the silly reason often given for circumcising an infant boy: the parents do not want the boy to be teased for being intact. Teasing and bullying is temporary. Infant circumcision is permanent. Some men never get over losing part of their penis, particularly when it is physically damaged by circumcision complications.

Secular News Daily: Circumcision: Maiming infants
A rational look at the practice of male infant circumcision. Stripped down to its basics, infant circumcision removes healthy tissue from a non-consenting person's genitalia. It really is no different than female genital cutting except for level of severity. Some FGM is more severe, some is less severe, than male genital cutting.
Forum: I just saw my glans for the first time!
The forum How to Fix Phimosis and Tight Foreskins, Solutions That Work offers advice to men about their foreskin problems. A forum post about a 19 year old man who had phimosis, that is, his foreskin opening was too small to accommodate his glans (head of the penis). He receives many comments about gently stretching his foreskin to enlarge the opening. Circumcision is not required to treat phimosis.
Santa Monica Daily Press: Nudity on screen, but not on the beach
A look at the irrationality of our society. Women cannot be topless, except when breastfeeding, and only then if she is discreet. But men can be topless most anywhere. Males are born healthy, but man must mutilate a child's body to satisfy some deal with God.
Uganda Media Centre: Circumcision a False Notion on preventing HIV/AIDS
President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has strongly cautioned Ugandans not to consider male circumcision as the remedy and automatic control of HIV/AIDS infection as is being promoted by some people and organisations across Uganda. He said that the messages were misguiding and may put the lives of many people in big danger by contracting the incurable disease since this has not been proven true scientifically.

The Huffington Post: Jewish Circumcision Foes Sit Out San Francisco Ban Efforts
Teh Christian Century: Jewish foes of circumcision sit out attempts to ban it
A report of how many Jewish intactivists are not willing to support the restriction on male infant circumcision that is proposed in San Francisco. Many of these intactivists believe that a circumcision ban will alienate too many people who would otherwise be willing to consider not circumcising infant boys.
Counter Punch: The Scalpel and the Damage Done
A look at circumcision and how the evidence shows that circumcision is unwarranted. Banning infant circumcision gives a man his choice. If a man should so choose to have a circumcision when he reaches the age of consent and sexual maturity, he can get one, unlike the millions of men who think with regret on the loss of sensitization in their penis due to lack of foreskin as an adult but find there is little they can do about it because others made the choice for them.

Santa Barbara Independent: Circumcision: Cut It Out?
A mother writes about why she decided against circumcising her son. Basically, she did not want to mess with a wounded penis shoved in a dirty diaper. So she left her son intact. She was concerned about her intact son be made fun of for having a foreskin. "My husband laughed at this notion. Laughed. Out loud. At a pregnant woman. Boys’ genitals, he explained, don’t look anything like their fathers’ until they’re old enough that they no longer see each other naked anyway."

What I'm Missing: Part 16, Conspiracy of silence
Kurt writes about when his father mentioned circumcision for the first and only time. His father always spoke frankly, willing to say anything. It was at a family gathering when Kurt's father spoke up . . .
Dr Momma Peaceful Parenting: The Forced Retraction of My Son
A mother tells of how her son's foreskin was forcibly retracted when her son was in the hospital for an emergency visit, The doctor saw nothing wrong with the forcible retraction, although another doctor said her son may suffer from adhesions or scarring because of the forcible retraction. Why is it that everyone wants to mess with a baby boy's penis. Why can't they just leave it alone?
Eco Child's Play: Why Circumcision is a Feminist Issue
This mother recognized early on that baby boys deserve the same equality as girls - no genital cutting. "Let’s let our children come into this world without violence. Let’s leave them be, perfect in the way they were made. We were. We are. Don’t our sons deserve the same respect?"

News Junky Journal: Brava Nonsurgical Breast Enhancement Revealed
Many men swear by vacuum penis pumps for restoring their foreskin. This article describes a similar way that women can enlarge their breasts. The breast has a vacuum chamber placed over it. The vacuum pulls the breast away from the body, which induces mitosis. The penis pump works the same way. Some men use a penis pump to enlarge their penis. Many circumcised men notice that their foreskin starts restoring from the vacuum pulling their skin away from their shaft.
NPR: To Circumcise Or Not Circumcise, That Is The Question
A mother considers the circumcision question as she awaits the birth of her son. She knows that infants feel pain from having their ears pierced. There was no way she was going to let her son feel unnecessary pain from circumcision.
