Almost 2 years of restoring my foreskin

by Tally on August 1, 2010 Bookmark and Share

Almost 24 months of restoring my foreskin to undo my circumcisionIn a few weeks I will have been restoring my foreskin for 2 years. If I had not been keeping track, I would not know how long I had been tugging. Tugging is such a part of my life that I don't really notice it. It is just something I do. I do not dwell on it.

As I get ready to write my 2 year progress report, I have been pondering my restoration efforts. During my two-year journey I have noticed many changes, and not just in the length of my foreskin. These changes are subtle and do not linger because, being subtle, you get used to them almost as fast as you notice them.

When I started retaining full time, I immediately noticed the absence of irritation in my shorts. No longer did I feel the constant irritation from my glans (mostly my corona) rubbing against my shorts. Now that I have been covered for 1-1/2 years, I have a new normal, that is, it is now normal for me not to be irritated. I guess you could say that I take it for granted that my penis will not be irritated, just like before I started restoring I took it for granted that I would always have that slight irritation in my shorts.

Another benefit is the gliding action. My foreskin has enough slack that the restored foreskin slides or glides over my glans. That is, I can pull my skin so that it covers my glans. My masturbation technique changed a lot. I did not need lube because my hands do not touch my glans. Instead, my foreskin slides over my corona and that is enough to get me off. The gliding motion during sex is a totally new feeling, and very significant for sexual pleasure for both me and my wife. I have had the pleasure of a restored foreskin long enough that I really do not remember what it was like before restoring, but I know it is much better now. So much better that I have whole body orgasms, something I never had before restoring my foreskin. When I have an orgasm, I feel it in my whole body. I still don't have orgasms like my wife where her whole body spams uncontrollably, but I am much closer to it than I have ever been. I am not yet done restoring, so I may get there yet.

When I woke up this morning, I noted another benefit to foreskin restoration. I woke up with a woodie. Thinking back, I remember waking up with an erection most mornings recently. That was not the case when I started restoring at age 52. Before restoring the frequency of my erections had decreased and, when I did have an erection, it took a lot of effort to keep it. That is not the case now. As far as my penis is concerned, I feel like I went back in time 30 years.

Other foreskin restoration benefits have been more subtle, such as my new-found sense of being whole and not feeling naked and exposed. Again, after more than a year of being covered with my restored foreskin, those feelings are no longer new. They have become a part of me, they are my new normal. I spent the last two years tugging my foreskin. Looking back, every tug and every minute spent tugging has been worth it. I only wish I discovered foreskin restoration years ago. But, if I would have a wish, it would be that I had never been circumcised at all. I wish my parents had left my penis alone and not let the doctor give me a circumcision. After all, it is my body, it should be my choice.

#2 Amen, brother!

On October 3rd, I will have been restoring for 2 years. I started at CI2 and am now at CI4, about halfway there. I now have 100% flaccid coronal coverage all the time, and about 50% glans coverage most of the time. My wife says I have a "nice turtleneck" going. The improvement in sensation is remarkable. It's like growing up seeing the world in black and white and now getting little splashes of color. I may never get the HD color I was born with, but I'll take standard-def Technicolor over black and white any day! :)

@TD, good to hear about your progress. The more I tug, the more I am grateful that foreskin restoration works. As you say, the improvements are remarkable.

Keep on tugging!

It can be done, Joe. The question is: How bad do you really desire and will you stick to a routine?

Do your best
