HealthTronics' RevoLix is a newer competitor to the Holmium laser used for HoLAP. The laser is for transurethral surgery of the prostate. It operates in a continuous mode as opposed to the pulse mode of the Holmium laser.

The 2013 nanometer wavelength provides strong absorption in any kind of tissue and works with a wide range of flexible fiber delivery systems.
