Circumcision Insanity: "Mya" from Florida

Awesatious: What’s your reason for supporting infant circumcision?
Eight common reasons people use to justify cutting the sex organ of baby boys, otherwise known as male infant circumcision. None of the listed reasons stand up to critical thinking. Sadly, most people who allow part of their baby boy's healthy body to be cut off rarely think about it.
A Voice for Men: 28,000,000 African men to be coerced by U.N. to make “the cut”
An expose on the male circumcision campaign being conducted in Africa. The three trials relied upon by the pro-circumcision crowd are examined critically and they do not stand up. The author makes a good point that the money spent on circumcising men could be better spend for food and clean water.

Awesatious: Bullying, suicide and circumcision
Another reason someone had for letting their son be circumcised: they wanted to protect him from being ridiculed for having a foreskin. Really? That is a lame reason, particularly since many, if not most, of his classmates are likely to be intact. It is just another example of the lack of critical thinking.

The Star.com: Religion, hygiene and better sex are just a few reasons adult men are getting circumcised
Few adult men get circumcised. A Canadian clinic does about 5 adult male circumcisions a month. The medical director discourages men from getting cut if they think it will increase their sexual satisfaction because circumcision often reduces sexual satisfaction.
Awesatious: Abortion and circumcision are not the same thing, folks!
Yet another lame excuse for cutting off part of a baby boy's sex organ: "I am pro-life." Huh? I have encountered this excuse also. How can a person be for life and also for cutting off healthy tissue after that boy is born? Do the rights of the human stop after being born?
A Voice for Men: An open letter to Bill and Melinda Gates
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is helping fund the male circumcision campaign in Africa. The circumcision campaign is based on faulty studies that do not fit real-world observations. Fraud also runs rampant, from American scientists promoting circumcision and their studies to circumcision device makers who are using bribery and other means to push their products.

The author then critiques the three trials that advocate male circumcision.
