Mothering: If you regret being circumcised post here
A thread on the Mothering forum asking the men to tell why they are upset. Several men wrote lengthy posts about how their infant circumcision adversely affected them. The consensus is that the men say that having part of their penis cut off by circumcision cost them a full and complete sex life and the sense of being whole.
My Foreskin Restoration Project: Welcome
A new foreskin restoration blog. This is the first post for the site. He identifies two websites: Restoring Foreskin and the DTR device site. He still needs to work on his site because it would not let me leave a comment. But he is off to a start, which is always good.

Times-Standard: Americans, keep your sons intact
A mother speaks out for genital integrity. That is, she speaks out for keeping baby boys intact and whole, free from circumcision. She points out that girls are protected from genital cutting, but boys are not. In 1996 it became illegal to circumcise girls in the US. She hopes that, soon, boys receive equal protection under the law from unnecessary genital cutting surgery.
strocel.com: The History of Circumcision
A mother decides to leave her son intact. No unnecessary surgery for her son, who was not circumcised. She writes of the various reasons advocated for circumcision in recent history. Circumcision gained popularity during the Victorian period. It was believed that circumcision cured masturbation.

Experience Project: Born Intact, Circumcised Against My Will At 12 Years Old
A man tells of how his mother had him circumcised when he was 12. The doctor botched the circumcision. Part of his glans (the head of the penis) was removed along with his foreskin. When he was 14 he required corrective surgery to fix the botched circumcision. His penis is still damaged from the botched circumcision and he has little sensitivity left.
NewsDay: Men fear circumcision
Surprise! Intact men in Africa do not want to be circumcised. The male circumcision campaign in Africa is having difficulty finding enough volunteers for circumcision. The campaign, which wrongly believes that the surgery helps reduce HIV, is not meeting its goals. Only 10% of the men targeted for circumcision have been circumcised. It seems like men like foreskin and see the value of having a foreskin. They, like me, believe that circumcision sucks.
The Times of India: Boy battles for life after botched circumcision
A 7-year old boy's circumcision was botched by doctors in a hospital. His penis was amputated, along with his foreskin, after he started bleeding uncontrollably. All because his parents wanted him to be circumcised instead of leaving him whole and intact.

HIV in Kenya: Aid and Circumcision: Just Because We Can and Because We Want To?
There is evidence that circumcision is unrelated to the HIV rate in many places in Africa. With this evidence, the male circumcision campaign being waged in Africa may be premature or unnecessary. The circumcisers are worried that not enough men are volunteering for circumcision. Instead, they should be worried about the efficacy of circumcision instead of blindly moving forward with the circumcision campaign.
