A Jewish mother tells of holding a Brit Shalom for her son. She and her husband decided against circumcising their son. Her son grew up happy to have his whole penis. He is actively involved with Judaism and has not been held back because he was not circumcised.
Solutions: Lawmakers reconsider circumcision for babies on Medicaid
An amendment adding circumcision payments to Medicaid was voted down in the Colorado Senate last week. This week a senate subcommittee voted to move the bill forward. Huh? It seems like some in Colorado really want to cut the sex organs of baby boys.

A mother tells how she left the circumcision decision up to her husband for their first baby. Instead of a boy, it was a girl. She has learned a lot since then and is determined that if she has a boy, he will remain whole and intact because he will not be circumcised.

The Windsor Star: Father faces second trial after bid to circumcise son
A Father tried to circumcise his 4-year old son with a razor blade and a blood-clotting chemical meant for horses. His son survived, but with a botched circumcision and a mangled penis. The father was convicted of criminal negligence, and the charged was upped to aggravated assault after the man appealed. The Supreme Court of Canada will hear the case on appeal. It is amazing that the man was convicted only for aggravated assault. It seems that the crime was much worse than assault.
