Male Circumcision and HIV: UK: Doctor struck off the medical registry for taking circumcision fetish too far
It's rare that a doctor who sexually fetishizes circumcision takes his obsession so far as to sexually abuse his patients during the course of treatment (except for recommending and carrying out the unnecessary circumcisions themselves, of course). But one has done just that. While being found not guilty of sexual assault against mostly teenage patients (hats off to those lawyers!), he has been found unfit to practice medicine.
The now former Dr. Bracka once co-authored a paper detailing a method of circumcision requiring the victim to be fully erect during the procedure.

Babies, boobs, & blasphemy: I'm Not a Hypocrite
The author points out that it is not hypocritical to be pro-choice and pro-intact (against infant circumcision). The real hypocrites are the people who so vehemently defend a fetus's right to life, but cut up their precious little bodies the day they are born.

--Insert Clever Title Here--: How Circumcision Affects Intimacy
A woman describes her life living with a man who was circumcised at birth. She tells how he suffers from a loss of sensitivity from having his glans exposed instead of protected by a foreskin. She explains the reasons why women often have trouble from sex with circumcised men, ranging from difficulty in reaching orgasm, the need to use lube during sex, and the vaginal pain that often results from sex. She mentions foreskin restoration as a possible solution.
Male Circumcision and HIV: IMAJ: A costly covenant: ritual circumcision and urinary tract infection
Neonatal circumcision is often justified by scanty evidence showing marginally lower rates of urinary tract infections (UTI) among neonates under a year old. What is often (always?) ignored is the role circumstances play in UTIs generally. The Israel Medical Association Journal examined records over a 10 year period. The researchers conclude, "Febrile male neonates who have undergone ritual circumcision have a high prevalence of UTI and must be evaluated and treated accordingly."

Male Circumcision and HIV: Weiss, Gray, and all the gang continue to publish according to plan
It is obvious that the organized circumcision lobby has a publishing plan to push mass male circumcision. They are seemingly conscious of the apparent fact that hard data is unnecessary to push a circumcision agenda and that funding and acceptance of their thesis are largely based on media reports rather than a critical examination of the data, assumptions, and conclusions of each successive paper they manage to push out to the public.

The Case Against Infant Circumcision: Australian Medicine Demolish Circumcision Advocates
Infant circumcision advocates wrongly promote circumcision as a surgical vaccine in an article published in the Medical Journal of Australia. The Journal publishes responses to the surgical vaccine assertion. One letter points out that the circumcision advocates "cite no evidence for [circumcision's] effectiveness as a primary prevention measure, and their editorial references few high-quality studies, offering instead opinions from like-minded individuals."

Male Circumcision and HIV: A little intactivist history on the 18th anniversary of the first intactivist march on Washington, DC
Every year since 1993, David Wilson, director of the Stop Infant Circumcision Society, has gathered intactivists in Washington DC to protest genital mutilation of children. This video is from the 2001 march to the US Supreme Court and Capitol Buildings. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. March 30th, 1997 FGM bill became law. 2001 was the 14th anniversary of the FGM law that protected girls, but not boys. Watching the video gives me a warm feeling that so many feel so strongly about stopping infant circumcision.
Beyond the Bris: Circumcision Timing Sparks Debate
Is circumcising an infant less traumatic than circumcising an older child or an adult? According Brooklyn mohel Rabbi Yakov Werde, circumcising at an older age is “much more traumatic.” Of course, he has a vested interest in circumcising baby boys, so he is very biased. A better point of view is presented by Noni MacDonald, M.D., who is a professor of pediatrics at Dalehousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. She says any potential benefit circumcision has for preventing sexually transmitted disease only kicks in when males become sexually active. Therefore, cutting the genitals of baby boys does not make sense.
